Sharing our love of Large Munsterlanders
I am Jean, I live down on the South Coast and have had Munsterlanders for many years,
I am currently on my six and seventh, having been previously owned by Bergenhaus
Gilda (Gilda), Meevoli Moonlight Tint of Munset (Jem), Munset Blue Sapphire (Maddie),
Munset Black Diamond (Max) and Ichbin Dreamspell von Munset (Sadie) and I now have
Willow and Jensen. My story however will start with Sadie whom we have recently
lost -
Sadie came to live with us at Christmas, in 1999, and sadly we had to make the decision
to let her go in June 2008, following a freak accident, chasing a ball of all things.
Sadie was not just a dog, Sadie was our constant companion. During her show career
she obtained two CCs and we were hoping for that third, but -
Ichbin Dreamspell von Munset
Born September 1999. Died June 2008

In 2005 Sadie was mated and, after a traumatic birth , produced one puppy -
Jensen,
KC name, Munset UR the one.

Sadie won two CCs in the show ring and also took her Good Citizen Tests, she was a much loved, all round pet.
Jensen was never really a show dog but a well travelled and very social boy -

Willow, Tarkanya Sukis Sunflower Von Munset, joined Munsterlanders Sadie and Jensen unexpectedly on October 4th 2005. She was meant to go to somebody else who, when they saw her, thought her colouring too light, but I just fell for her. You can see from the expressions on the faces of the four Munsters she travelled home with, they obviously weren’t expecting to take home a puppy.

Sadie, Floyd, Marli, and Dylan, all trying so hard not to look at this puppy in front of them.

Willow soon got in the swing of life, sitting here with Steve in the pub. She just sat looking at life in general, and enjoying a cuddle.
Willow thinks being taken out and about is wonderful, and loves to settle down in the bracken when she decides she needs a rest

Willow also loves the sea! A lovely little girl
