Sharing our love of Large Munsterlanders
Kimba is a male Large Munsterlander . Hermes Kimberlite.
I purchased him from Abbie Lister & Jeanette Lomas, at four months of age.
We live on a dairy farm in New Zealand

His favourite pastimes are getting wet any way he can, hunting opossums and rabbits, climbing trees, riding the four wheeler motorbike and cuddling up to me on the lazy boy reclining chair.

I have shown Kimba and he is made up to a breed Champion
He also competes successfully at Obedience.
A few of the things Kimba has got up to since I have had him:
* Several times he has become stuck while climbing trees hunting opossums, he slips and becomes wedged between branches unable to move. He calmly waits until I find him to get him out, which isn't always easy as I often have to climb the tree myself and cut away the offending branches.
* He has had his head trapped under an empty portable water trough momentarily, that he overturned onto himself. That gave him an awful fright, he got himself out of that one.
* When I first got him I left him in the car shed while I went to town. I came back to the saddle pulled down off its bracket and all the firewood that had been stacked nicely against the wall, all pulled down and spread over the floor.
* I am unable to leave him inside the house on his own as he jumps out of windows and tears the curtains as he goes, or he jumps on to the table and looks out the window to see where I have gone.
* I often visit my mother and take Kimba with me, he usually jumps out of the section and wanders over next door. This time the neighbour was home bending over in his garden, when Kimba approached him from behind and barked at him. He said he got one hell of a fright but could see Kimba was friendly.
* At obedience classes young dogs are introduced to Kimba to socialise, as he has got a wonderful temperament. One evening at classes he was doing his retrieve with his dumbbell, he bought back someone's bum bag instead of the dumbbell, he was so proud of himself.
People often ask me what he is crossed with, I have even been asked if he is a long-
