Large Munsterlanders at Chontelle, or owned by Julie Dowden

Julie has owned Munsters for some years now, more details can be found on her website.

This photo of Jule and Gelda was taken at National Gundog Championship Show 2008 by Jo.

Julie says “of course you can use my photos, always happy to show my dogs off!”  So thanks - will add another!!! Also taken at National Gundog Show.

These two photos are both of Gelda, or Sh. Ch. Jägerreh Coranto of Chontelle Sh CM, the only  Large Munsterlander bitch to hold that addition to their title. Gelda was bred by Christine Weber in Scotland and is out of Jägerreh Miranda and Ch. Raycris Hi Flyer.  Will Julie be the first LM owner to have the title at the rear - and dispense with the Sh. at the front!!!

Although Gelda has not been out to many shows this year she has still done well at the few Shows she has attended, amongst her recent achievements are Best of Breed awards at Mid. Herts Canine Society AND at Leicester Gundog Society Open shows, and  a Res. Best of Breed at Romford and District Canine Society. Gelda also took the BCC (her 5h!) and Best of Breed at Windsor Champ. Show., in July this year.

Gelda and Julie continue to do well in the Show ring,  recently taking Best of Breed and Group 3 at East Midlands CS., also a BOB at Clacton Open Show & the BCC at the City of Birmingham Championship Show September 2009.
