As a youngster he was fairly successful in the show ring, passed his Bronze Good Citizen Award and regularly visited a local special school as part of the P.A.T. dog scheme. Unfortunately, at the start of 2003 he ruptured his right cruciate ligament and after two operations and many visits to the vet, his leg began to make some improvements. This rehabilitation stage, which included physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, has been a long process - I sometimes think that Dart has adapted better to his ‘changed’ life than we did as owners!.

Dart has such a happy disposition, engaging character and eye-catching expression that you can’t help but love him. His handsome looks have resulted in an ever-growing fan club in our village and he just loves all the attention. However, he is also exasperating, has selective hearing, always wants to have the last word and the rest, BUT then again he is a Munsterlander!

Dart has always been very much a family dog and a fantastic pet.

I am often asked how Brenda is thesedays - (and those of you who may know her might remember she was quite ill at one point) well - this is the answer - she is fit and well - and into horse-riding!!! The picture speaks for itself.
