Datroy Large Munsterlanders

Many of you will remember Dot, of  Datroy Large Munsterlanders. A lovely lady, much missed, however, her legacy, in the form of her affix. will be carried on, by son Alan - with his first munster - Herman, or Tarkanya Inka’s Icebreaker., or now Tarkanya Inca’s Icebreaker of Datroy.

Herman, Tarkanya Inka’s Icebreaker, bet he could melt the hardest heart? Icebreaker?  heartbreaker? Or heartthrob? Definetly a pin-up boy, featured in the 2009 Calendar for the AHT., and - a strong contender for next year’s edition?

They grow up fast though, and mature into lovely dogs! As the photos below show......................

Tarkanya Inca’s Icebreaker of Datroy.  (The return of the Datroy Affix).

Updated March 2009.  

 

Herman is now  “Tarkanya Incas Icebreaker of Datroy”.  Alan has been granted permission by the Kennel Club to hold the Datroy Affix.  Congratulations Alan, I am sure Dot would be pleased.

Pic left.  Herman qualified for Crufts 2009 on his first outing to a Championship Show, (Midland Counties in October 2008), he was just six months old.  Here he is seen amidst all the hustle and bustle of his first Crufts - and he is intent on Fiona’s finger!!!!

 

Pic below - Herman has also taken up the working side of things, and this photo was taken on a recent training day at Rory Majors in Lincolnshire.

Tarkanya Inca’s Icebreaker of Datroy.

 

Updated 16th April.  After his success in the show ring (see above at Crufts) On the 12th of April, 2009 Herman took his Natural Aptitude Test.  He passed!  This was his first  real “Event” carrying the Datroy affix after his name - and he did it well!!!  Pics below taken on the day.
